A new Portal for PVP opened up in the Event Area during Act 2 of An Xmas Xarol ending December 21, 2017 at 5pm PST. The gameplay is very much like space missions. The difference is that players can pick a crew to fight from an opposing player. In addition to Class, crew members now have Affinities and Passives giving them different strengths, weaknesses and special abilities.
Gameplay
- Players can select 5 crew members to enter battle.
- Crew members can be changed any time between battles.
- Crew members performing other tasks can still enter battles.
- Crew members cannot be newly added to the battle team while performing other tasks.
- Players are given 3 options of teams to fight
- Players can refresh options 3 times, then must wait for 3 hours to refresh again.
- Players are given 300 seconds (5 minutes) to complete a fight. If the battle timer runs out, the player loses the battle.
- Players were initially given 5 battle energy.
- Recharge rate for battle energy was initially set at 10 hours of game time per battle energy. The rate was changed to 10 minutes of game time but players had to wait for initial 10 hour clock to run down. With update 1.5.1 the recharge rate was set to 2 hours of real time per battle energy.
Affinities
In addition to Class, crew members now have Affinities. There are 3 Affinities and each one has different strengths and weaknesses. The Affinities have an impact on winning/losing PVP battles, so choose your team and opponents accordingly.
- Brainy
: Strong against , weak against . - Brawny : Strong against , weak against .
- Brave : Strong against , weak against .
Passives
In addition to Class, crew members now have Passives. Each Character has a unique set of up to 5 passive abilities.
Rewards
- Battle Points are rewarded based on the difficulty of the opponent you fight.
- Win: 12-22 Battle Points and 2 Nebula Orbs

Battle Points
Accumulate Battle Points to climb up higher ranking tiers. Tier I is the highest ranked while Tier V is the lowest.
