Levels
The maximum level for a character is currently 99.
- The level cap was raised from 25 to 30 with the Entertainment District/Amazonia update.
- The level cap was raised from 30 to 99 during week 2 of An Xmas Xarol event and promotions were added.
Promotions
- Characters must now be promoted at levels 10, 30 and 60 to continue leveling up.
- Badges collected from Missions on The Daily Planet are required to promote a character.
- Characters also gain Passive abilities with each promotion. Each character starts with 2 passive abilities, up to a maximum of 5 passives unlocked at 4-star Rank.
Rank
- 1-star: levels 1–10
- 2-star: levels 10–30
- 3-star: levels 30–60
- 4-star: levels 60–99
Requirements to Level Up
To level up a Character, both CP and Nixonbucks are needed. The following table shows how much of each are required for each level. The Total columns add up the total needed to to level up from 1 to 99. At levels 10, 30 and 60, the required Nixonbucks and Badges to Promote a character are also included.

Chips Breakdown
Career Chips can be used to level up any character. Specialized chips can only be used to level up a character of the same Class as the chip. The following table shows the CP value of each chip and the associated amount of Nixonbucks that will be required to level up. Leveling up a character requires a fixed amount of both CP and Nixonbucks.
All chip application costs translate to 1.6 times CP value.
